Forbidden Love

She sought for him, whom her soul loves
And she sought for him, now and again
Whom was of a kindred spirit
Their souls delight
He was found of her, who her soul loves
She gave him that glance
Which said I’m deeply in love
The great floods cannot drown it,
Neither water can quench it.
The emotion had an advocate
Which got out of her left eye
Rolling down her cheek
As she wiped it softly and smoothly
As she wore a beautiful smile
From afar
The mother witnessed
That which escaped from secrecy
And it was made known to him through gestures
Their love was forbidden
For as the sun rises with burning heat
And wither the grass
And flowers falls off
So was their love believed to be.
Lust draws and entice.
